WHERE: University of Central Florida’s Intramural Turf Fields

WHEN: Saturday, January 15th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Sunday, January 16th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
(Stay & watch a 1pm UCF vs. Hogtowne Lax Game/Free admission)

All parents, UCF students, fans and others are invited to come watch!

LACROSSE EQUIPMENT AND RULES

Each player MUST BE A CURRENT US LACROSSE MEMBER. Each player must supply their own equipment which includes: lacrosse stick, lacrosse helmet, lacrosse gloves, lacrosse elbow guards, lacrosse cleats and mouth guard - all lacrosse equipment is REQUIRED! Goalies need to bring their own equipment.

** A Parent/Guardian must be present if the player is registering at the field on the day of the camp.

Face Off For A Cause at Boone High School

The first order of business for 2009 and 2010 for the Samaritan Team was to assist the Wounded Warrior Project by creating, organizing and presenting the 3rd annual “Face Off for a Cause” Lacrosse Tournament to be held in Orlando, Fl. This event will introduce the Wounded Warrior Project and the fast and dynamic sport of Lacrosse to the Orlando Community and the Nation.



The Face Off for a Cause event will feature a host of high school lacrosse games with lacrosse teams from tampa, orlando, and miami areas. On February 13th, there will be 4 college lacrosse games, including an in-state exhibition between to Florida lacrosse teams with the Florida State Seminoles taking on the Central Florida Knights at 2 p.m. at Boone High School. Florida Lacrosse & Sports internet retail store will be out at the evet with a booth full of lacrosse equipment and a good selection of lacrosse apparel.

UF Lacrosse to Take Part in Champion Challenge this weekend

Gainesville, Fla. - From The University of Florida’s Lacrosse team website



The University of Florida lacrosse women’s team will get their first taste of game-action this spring as they travel to Orlando to take on the U.S. women’s developmental team as a part of the fifth-annual Champion Challenge. The game will be played on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m. at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex.

In addition to the games being played as a part of the Champion Challenge, the U.S. men’s and women’s national team program will offer youth clinics for boys and girls, respectively, on Sat., Jan. 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. Both clinics are for lacrosse players, grades 3-12.

Tickets will be sold at the event at Disney’s Wide World of Sports lacrosse ticket gate or can be purchased in advance on the event website, http://www.uslacrosse.org/events/champchallenge2010.phtml.
