Lake Brantley defeats Lake Mary in Second Round

Lake Brantley took on county rival Lake Mary on friday night, fighting it out to get into the final four of the FHSAA Lacrosse state championship. The Lake Brantley Patriots lacrosse team controlled the game, only letting Lake Mary get as close as a 5 goal deficit.

 


Lake Brantley will advance to the FHSAA lacrosse state semi-final game versus St. Andrews on Friday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. and will take on the winner of Bolles vs Lake Highland Prep.

The Lake Mary Rams Lacrosse Team finishes an impressive season as district 4 champs with a 13-5 record. Congrats to Lake Mary High School on a great season!

Face Off For A Cause at Boone High School

The first order of business for 2009 and 2010 for the Samaritan Team was to assist the Wounded Warrior Project by creating, organizing and presenting the 3rd annual “Face Off for a Cause” Lacrosse Tournament to be held in Orlando, Fl. This event will introduce the Wounded Warrior Project and the fast and dynamic sport of Lacrosse to the Orlando Community and the Nation.



The Face Off for a Cause event will feature a host of high school lacrosse games with lacrosse teams from tampa, orlando, and miami areas. On February 13th, there will be 4 college lacrosse games, including an in-state exhibition between to Florida lacrosse teams with the Florida State Seminoles taking on the Central Florida Knights at 2 p.m. at Boone High School. Florida Lacrosse & Sports internet retail store will be out at the evet with a booth full of lacrosse equipment and a good selection of lacrosse apparel.
